Tan Son Nhut Association - Due May 1st 2024

   A national Vietnam Veterans organization, the Tan Son Nhut Association, is offering TWO different scholarship types for the 2024 school year for students who are descended from someone who served in Vietnam. The applicant must be a direct descendant of one who served in Vietnam for any period from January 1, 1959, to April 30, 1975. Service may be either with the Armed Forces of the United States or the Republic of Vietnam or as a civilian at Tan Son Nhut Air Base either as an American or Vietnamese citizen.

   TSNA is accepting applications for a $5,000 scholarship from high school seniors.

     New in 2024 is a $1,000 scholarship for students who chose to attend a two-year technical, career or trade school instead of seeking a bachelor’s degree.

 High School Requirements- An official high School transcript showing your overall high school GPA. Minimum requirement is 3.0 on a 4-point scale for the three years of high school. Applicants must submit a copy of the transcript or a signed letter from the high school administration attesting to and listing the student’s GPA for each of the last three years of high school.

JMC Innovation Scholarship- Deadline April 15th

The candidate receiving this award must demonstrate tangible and documented evidence of an innovative idea, tool, or substantiated entrepreneurial effort. This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from any Benton County public school. The scholarship is $5000, it will be paid directly to an institution for higher learning (four-year college/University, two-year college, trade school or equivalent).
